Log Cabin Suite

Updated: Jul 11, 2019

With 1,600 square feet of living space, the Log Cabin Suite is one of the largest accommodations. The décor is a blend of Indian cultures, and this suite lets you dream of your log cabin in the woods.

The Master bedroom has a king bed made from driftwood from nearby Flathead lake. A second queen Murphy bed is in a corner of the living room. The master bathroom has a soaking tub with shower, while the second bathroom features a shower and a custom granite sink, hand carved from a boulder.

Lounge around the Kiva fireplace and gaze at the most relaxing view of Bigfork Bay, with the lake and mountains in the background. It makes you feel as though you finally arrived in Montana. Kick off your boots and soak in the clawfoot bathtub or warm up by the fireplace. Cuddle up with a warm Indian trading blanket on the luxurious soft leather chairs.

If you plan to entertain, the luxury kitchen will impress all your guests. Great for corporate retreats.

What our guests say about the Log Cabin suite at Swan River Inn:

We are celebrating our anniversary. This was the nicest and most wonderful place. It was romantic, warm, cozy and just great. This rooms is out of this world. I would expect Daniel Boone to walk in or hear horses coming.

We even had the nice company of a very nice dog, Sidney, who gave us some happiness for we left our pet at home. The fishing was great, we caught a 37-inch lake trout and a 37-inch lake trout.

Our best wishes,

Kurt and Maria

PS — We will be back

We love the Log Cabin Suite.

You are a beautiful and cozy place in a hectic world. Our second time in this room and we shall return. We enjoyed the delicious food and great service and “Sidney the Sweet.”

We came from southern Louisiana to help celebrate the wedding of our friends at Wayfarers Park.

Your inn has been our home for the last 3 ½ days and could not have been more charming.

We love the cabin!

— Bill and Betty, Louisiana

We arrived late one foggy night. We were tired and grumpy and both a little on edge. As soon as we walked into the room we immediately relaxed. Then as we stepped into the hot tub all inhibitions were released.

Thank you.

We’ve stayed at the Swan River Inn several times. First time in the Log Cabin room and it’s great!

We brought visitors from Great Britain who are in the Art Deco room and they’re delighted!

Thank you once again for the charming surroundings.

Thanks again from the Jensens.

We are here for a family reunion.

My family of five enjoyed our rustic log cabin experience but benefit of cool air — yay! My husband and I are super thankful for a cushy king bed and extra space in this room.

Unusual shower. We are tall but it worked, and it went with the theme.

We came here this afternoon with our bikes on our way to Mexico on the Great Divide. Mostly we camp outside at an unfriendly motel … this was heaven! What a nice place. Thank you for being here!

— Sander and Joost, Holland

Came for our anniversary. Wonderful stay and beautiful area.

I am here for a show of my art work at the Bigfork Art Museum, so what a fitting place to stay, like a museum.

Thank you,

Monte Dolack

We are here for just one night. We have spent 10 days traveling from Michigan, visiting National Parks from Michigan to Yellowstone. We are here in this beautiful land to celebrate my 75th birthday with 23 of our children and grand children. Wow, how blest am I and how grateful I am to have spent 10 days enjoying this magnificent creation God has created.
